Cream Puff

Zebra finch … most likely a boy.

This one is called “Chestnut Flanked White”

When I first got this finch from nice aviary near by, the finch was 7 weeks old and it all white so it’s still unknown if a female or a male..

But around this time above pictures, his cheeks were getting peachy color little by little….

When I got him, he was fully wined by his parents. Their owner has never hand-fed him so he wasn’t a type of a bird who loves to land on the human’s hand and gets pet from human. In fact, he run-away from me when I tried to grab him.😆

The first 2 weeks, he used to sleep like this 😂

Then he moved to ….

On the fern for another a couple of weeks….

Then, back to the coconut… and come back to the fern…

All my animals are doing great!

Black Cat Peppy will turn 19 this year!!!

He just had an annual check up last month,

blood results are ALL normal which is awesome for his age 😌💕

  5. Congratulations on your recent family addition, what an adorable face, I’ sure you’re going to experience great fun with him/her. That aviary is the nicest for pet birds I’ve ever seen, so open and natural, that is a great beginning for a healthy, happy bird.

    What a beautiful lunch, food made at home comes from love and that in turn unites us in a very special way, I’ll bet your guests loved the food and your lunch created a lot of happy memories.

    1. Thank you. Indeed, he is. He is more like a little toy.
      You know what, in few weeks, we going to have new baby zebra finch 🐦
      Eggs just hatched last week, so letting their parents feed them for now…
      This bird lady is keeping one baby (still naked 😂）for me.
      So I will pick up when they are fledgling.

      1. It isn’t uncommon to go 20 ish hours, but I think that 17-18 hours is ideal, that is around when I really begin to be hungry. That is funny, my exception also is the morning cup of coffee, to wich I add creamer & raw, unfiltered honey. Then water all day, but unsweetened tea with my meal. Glad you’re doing it too. We’re not supposed to eat the way many people do, like 3 meals a day + snacks in between. Ech, too much.

      The finch, yes, he is quite the character😆, he is more like a toy,
