Saffron Finch.

Rescued Friday March 25, 2022 at our driveway. (it was approximately 1-2 weeks)

SEVEN months old this month. (October,2022)

Sex: unknown

Not fully weaned yet. This is extremely SLOW. Normally most finches are weaned in 2months.

Officially diagnosed “unreleasable bird” but that’s ok… because “here I am” 😆💓

Her back head is still less feather but the top spot is slightly getting feather and a few spots are getting yellower just recently.😍🐤😍

  3. Awww, Mele Mele is such a sweet bird…I’m sure your journey with her will be very memorable, she’s lucky to have such a loving “mom”. It’s great to see all of your furry kids are doing well, they are such great companions, so loving.

    1. Cappuccino is doing unbelievably great.
      She’s too active which is not so good maybe.
      She does rock climbing every day our coral rocks where the cave pool is in the yard to the 2nd floor balcony ( about 3m) 😱🤯…
      that girl is too rascal 😑😑😑

  10. I have been thinking about Melemele and how kind you have been. They all don’t survive. Your kindness had made it so! 🍀 I truly believe it. ( I know there is no logic to it. Logic does not rule our world! ) Good to see her babies!!! 💖 💖

    1. The baby doves left their next already 😵
      I am amazed how fast 🐦🐦
      There were 3-4days different between 2 of babies the day they left.
      Hopefully the both doing well.
      Hard to believe it’s mid October already!
      I am looking forward for your new post 🎃🧛🏻‍♀️🧟‍♀️🧙‍♀️
      I really enjoyed the Halloween 👻 post last year 😆

      Humpback 🐋 Whales are heading from Alaska to Hawaiian-a 🌊.
      They spend whole winter here, hopefully I will able to take pictures of them tans share with you 🐋💕✨

  18. Loved this very much, I have seen doves my entire life in Pennsylvania in the USA but this is the first time I seen them as newborn chicks. They sure look different from the mom and daddy, I would never thought they were doves
