It’s been 4months…

Rescued Baby Saffron Finch “mele mele” quick update:

She loves to play with my hair…..

As you see, she is getting more and more yellow ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒŸ

If you try to touch her while she’s busy playing…. she will be PISSed!!!!

๐Ÿ˜ฑI was scared a few times since she looked at me like this, she was like “Do not touch me ever human!!!”

  7. She is so beautiful. I’m amazed at how you’ve nurtured her and are able to raise a wild bird, that’s such a very delicate process. Will she be returned to the wild or because she had no time with her mother will she be living with you?
    Great photos of her growth, congratulations on being her surrogate mom. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. That was absolutely wonderful to watch. Mele Mele is such a fortunate little Finch to have you as her mum. I remember reading that she has a neural problem probably caused by falling from the nest. Because of this she probably wouldn’t survive in the wild. Looks like you have a little friend for life! She is so adorable.

      She was diagnosed with neuropathy. most likely brain damage by falling from nest where such high spot ๐ŸŒดAlso, her right wing has an issue too. Anyway she is a clumsiest bird you could ever see in your life… kind of bird.๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’›and as much as she is clumsy, inversely I do love her more and more๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’•

      I just gave her a bath, cleaned her house and put fresh leaves and flowers ๐Ÿค—
