    1. 水には適応できないそうですよ〜〜〜。。。
      この子は、まだお子様で、すっごく大きくなるそうです。。。
      東京のおじいさんが飼っていて、街中を気長にお散歩する風景が
      記事になっていました😂

    1. コワいですか😂？確かに、カウェラちゃんは、黒目がちの大きくて丸い目だけど、キモちゃんは、ヘーゼルアイで鋭く見えますね。カウェラちゃんのママが、キモくんの目に似ていましたよ〜〜〜。。。

    リクガメと言うと大きなサイズの物想像するのですが “Gorgeous”は成長途中なのでしょうか？

  16. This is “Post of the Week”. Love it. Your animals are so happy and it’s beautiful to see. Thank you so much for sharing. I’ve always been a dog person, but have been dogless for 4 years now. Still getting used to it. Seeing your animals always warms my heart. Aloha my friend! ❤️

      It’s 5:08pm here in Hawaii. Sunny but little windy. Still super bright, wild birds are chirping… I am hearing waves and Mele Mele is slipping , up-side-downing, crawling and showing me super clumsy movement as usual…and she came and jump to my foot sometimes😆🐦She is really really a “Special-needs” kind of bird and I love her more and more every day🤗aloha

      1. Mele Mele is so cute, and a special character. I’m jealous that you can hear the waves. I miss that sound. Now my favourite sound is early morning when the birds wake up in the trees. They’re so noisy, then they fly off for a day by the river. A special treat is when I hear the kookaburras. 🤗Aloha!

      2. She’s officially diagnosed with Neuropathy. Most likely, she got brain nerve damage when she fall from the nest where sooooo up high. Now, I re-justify myself that I don’t have to even think of “releasing” her!!!🐦💫🐤
        Thanks soooo much for loving my little bird and all the animals around me💕

        I loooove the kookaburras 😆they are sooo much Aussie birds to me😆💕

    1. good & bad news about mele mele.
      bad news : she is pretty much a “Special needs” kind of bird. Just like a handicap…
      good news: therefore, she doesn’t have to deal with attacking by any predators, struggling to find food, spending soaking wet and freezing night when Hawaii got storm in the winter. She is always protected by me, got new family and great home🐦🤗🏡

      2. Yes, everyone loves her 🐦💓She might have neuropathy by brain damaging but as long as she eats good, playing with my hair, singing with incredibly beautiful voice… and again, I am glad that I can justify myself that I don’t have to even think about releasing her one day.

    1. ocean has been Flat like a lake here North Shore for a month! good size swells arrived from Tahiti to South Shore, not the north. Still it’s not the XXL like we have every winter though…
