I had always been dreaming of visiting Alaska ever since I was a kindergarten kit as there was a kindergarten classmate boy who moved to Alaska.

幼稚園の頃、アラスカに引っ越した男の子がいて、その頃から、いつか行ってみたいと夢みていたアラスカ。

I love arriving early in the morning. To bask of the sunrise at the destination makes me feel so blessed.

早朝到着便って、ウキウキします。目的地で朝日を浴びると、なんだかすっごく幸せな気分になる。

The first destination：Kenai Fjords National Park

Stay：Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge

The lodge in the American National Park that maintains the Harding Icefield, its outflowing glaciers, and coastal fjords and islands.

“Fjords” : a long, narrow, deep inlet of the sea between high cliffs. typically formed by submergence of a glaciated valley.

巨大氷河で囲まれた、広大なアメリカの国立公園内のロッジ。”フィヨルド” : ノルウェー語が語源だそうで、氷河の浸食によって形成された複雑な地形の湾。

🐻Magic Moment ・1 🐻

After dinner on the day we arrived, I went to take a walk around while talkative American people were having a chat. It was after 10 pm but it’s Alaska at the end of June! Midnight sun season.

到着日夕食後、お喋り好きアメリカ旅行者さんたちが雑談しているさい、一人でロッジ周辺を散歩。夜１０時すぎてたけど、６月後半のアラスカは白夜だから明るい！

Then….

すると・・・

There was a Black Bear so nearby, and he was walking head to me😍

ブラックベアが、すぐ近くに、しかもこっちに向かってくる😍

I immediately went back to the cabin to get my 350mm lens, and he was still there 😍

すぐさま、350mmレンズを取りに戻る。まだいたぁ〜〜〜😍

He didn’t even care about the human(me), he was only looking for food.

“ニンゲン” など目もくれず、ひたすら食べ物を探している様子のブラックベア

It was just a bear, me and bugs …. an extremely silent, amazingly magical moment.

ただただ、静かで😍アメージングな空間。。。恍惚。。。

It was an unforgettable midnight sun experience in the middle of the great mother nature.

大自然のお陰で生涯忘れることがない白夜体験となりました。

  3. So many wonderful moments and beautiful pictures! To be near to a wild animal is always a blessed moment. You were extremely near, wow! And you saw Orkas 🐳, you lucky one. I love the other animals too, 🦅 and the cute otter and the birds. Alaska must be a dreamland destination 🌎. The lodge looks cozy and comfortable. I would like to go there immediately 😁 Thank you for showing! 🌸Aloha🌸

      Bold eagles 🦅 are so cool, sea otters are so laid back 😂🦦
      Orcas are cool but so scary!!!
      I just can’t stand facing those discovery channels showing how they hunt….
      I highly recommend visiting there one day🦭

  9. Wow amazing that you have seen the black bear, I think I would be afraid that I could be his dinner☺ Beautiful pictures of Alaska, thank you for sharing them. It is a place of which I’m sure I will never visit………….

      I didn’t know about the earthquake recently until I read your message😵❗️
      Fortunately, Hawaii was all right this time.

      I evacuated from the Tsunami warning a couple of times my life last 17 years and one of them was like 1:00 in the morning 😱。。。
      Animals are always a priority for sure…. then their food, treats, water.
      This is absolutely the dark side of beach life.

      By the way, I remembered that most of the people I met in Alaska, they from FL for some reason 😆😂
      There are so many here in Oahu too.
      I guess you guys love Alaska and Hawaii!??
