I vividly remembered when I saw a bison first time in my entire life in some refuge center South Alaska 2012.

Nobody dislikes bison. Btw, English is not my first language and I’ve checked, the plural of bison is bison. No “s”. ๐Ÿ™‚ We learn new things every day. Anyway, your American bison are majestic and have kind eyes, but guess what? We have here in Romania some sort of bison, we call it zimbru. Search zimbru on google so you can see for yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚

There is a herd here, not far from me in the Colorado Rockies foothills. It’s fun to see the babies each year. They are often called buffalo here, although there is a difference. Just don’t get too close!

The Tetons are the MOST amazing place I’ve ever been!

But it was Catalina Island where I was chased by a bison!! It charged right into our cabin!! No pics – that was waaay pre-digital. 1980s, I think.

Annd… Jackson Hole is my fav city ever. My family saw a local production of the play “Paint Your Wagon” (a family fave) while there and I always associate the two. I loved everything about that city. Well, in summer. Snow is cool but not for a whole season!!
