You’re killing me!!!! I love to be on the water but haven’t in several years (Long Bch is gross due to the breakwater and shipping port).
I remember snorkeling in Hawaii and saying “oh my gawd” over and over because I didn’t, till then, know fish really exist in neon colors!

Our water is a lot colder than Hawaii but SoCal water is tolerable in summer. I was stunned by the warmth of Hawaii’s water in October and loooved when a warm rain cleared the streets of tourists!
I saw tons of puffer fish, plus a sea horse and a shark, in Costa Rica.
In Hawaii, I was also startled by how loud the coral-munching fish are!! Everyone thinks the world under the water is quiet, like a pool, but much of it isn’t!

Haha I loooved a rain chase the tourists away too. now…no more tourists and a rain can not clear the Hawaii local people.

I love being in the rain. I think that and the fact that I didn’t wear makeup are why locals kept assuming I was local too.

I originally had plans to go with several gay friends but they bailed. One of my happiest moments was deciding to go snorkeling and being at the bus stop 10 min later. If they’d been with me there would have been a 2hr discussion about what to do, followed by them over-primping, followed by someone wanting food, till it was finally too late to go.
Instead, it ended up being one of the best days I’ve ever had!
