I just LOVE watching them. They make me feel so blessed and happy.

ホヌちゃんは、見てるだけで、シアワセほんわか🐢💓

I vividly remember that when I saw the first sea turtle of my life was in the water when I was surfing at the Hikkaduwa Sri Lanka in 1995. It was so smooth and graceful.🐢💓 

ウミガメを初めて見たのは、１９９５年、ヒッカドゥアでサーフィンしてた時😍　美しい薄茶のウミガメが優雅に泳いでいて、今でも鮮明に覚えています😍

The other day, my surf leash broke when I wiped out at the Laniakea.

この前、ラニアケアでワイプアウトした時,

Look at this, it was torn off right at the middle of the cord, not at a connected part or a string tie a surf board.

リーシュが切れちゃいました。しかも、よくある付け根とか、ボードとつないでいる紐とかじゃなくて、コードが切れた。。。

Thankfully it happened in the summer so I was be able to get back my board back with only a short swim. But if it happened in the winter….. I would have had to swim at least 200m in the rough water 😱

夏の穏やかな海でよかった〜〜〜。ちょっと泳いだら、ボードに追いついたよ。。。。これがもし冬だったら、“Gone”ボードを追いかけ、200m は荒波を水泳する羽目になってたよ。。。😱

This morning, I went sup surfing at Chun’s Reef.

今朝はチャンズリーフで波乗り。
